With a heritage spanning more than 40 years, All Marine have firmly cemented their reputation as the Whangarei marine experts, getting boaties back in the water where they belong. Northland is a boat-owner’s paradise, and our team live and breathe boats just as much as our customers! We’re friendly, helpful, and above all passionate about all things marine.
Richard and Dianne Cunningham took over All Marine in April 2017. Richard comes from an electrical background and a lifetime in boating, from P-class to Keeler, runabout to launch. Dianne is a born and bred Northland local so naturally has an affinity with the sea, and caught the boating bug after meeting Richard.
All of our in-store crew are boaties, meaning you won’t have to explain yourself or use landlubber terms when dealing with us. Our skillsets cover the full spectrum, with Paul and his extensive yachting knowledge, Helen the fishing fiend, Dave on jetboats and catamarans, and of course Shirley, who keeps the office ticking and is our backup for running the shops with all its products.
All Marine began life over 40 years ago, originally known as Cater Marine Whangarei. The well-loved chandlery store enjoyed a full rebrand in 2006, becoming All Marine, and growing into a larger, more extensive supply store for visiting yachties and local boaties. We also grew our ranges on offer, and expanded into a second location.
We have an extensive range of marine gear between the two stores at 231 Port Rd, and 52 Riverside Drive Whangarei. What we don’t stock we can usually source for you in short order, and we also specialise in sourcing the hard-to-get gear. We get just as excited about new products as our customers, but we’re sure to get hands-on experience with new marine equipment before we promote it to our fellow boat enthusiasts. We only source and supply marine chandlery we trust – giving us a reputation as Whangarei’s marine experts!
We can also assist with installation of electronics, anchor winches, bow thrusters etc and if we don’t know how to do it we will know someone that does!
