At Custom Marine Canvas we aim to provide the highest quality covers and upholstery along with prompt friendly service to all our clients. We have a number of innovative solutions and unique products, and pride ourselves on our service and attention to detail.

We understand the unique requirements of superyachts, and often accommodate short timeframes and quick turnarounds. CMC have been a supplier to every boat that Alloy Yachts International have launched in Auckland NZ since 2005, and have provided our products and services to a number of visiting and locally built superyachts.

Craftsmanship

Since moving back to New Zealand from Australia 9 years ago, Craig has successfully grown Custom Marine Canvas from small beginnings, having operated a similar business on Australia’s Sunshine Coast.

Originally a sailmaker, Craig found the marine trimming side of the business more challenging, and decided to pursue that. His meticulous approach and understanding of the customers’ requirements, combined with a wealth of boating experience both here and overseas, has resulted in numerous satisfied customers.

Craig and his dedicated team have worked on a number of superyachts, including the last 10 award-winning boats that Alloy Yachts have launched.

Custom Marine Canvas designed and manufactured exterior canvas, covers, biminis and numerous other custom canvas products for the most recent boat from Alloy Yachts, “Vertigo”, a 67.2m Briand ketch.

A big project on a tight timeframe, this demonstrated the high level of craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail that all of his customers can expect.
