Dan has over 25 years in the marine industry, ranging from timber boatbuilding through to supervising interior fitouts.
Dan started his career at Don Senior Boatbuilders where he learnt the skills of wooden boatbuilding, moving on to Alloy Yachts where he quickly worked his way up to a supervisor position.
Dan has looked after ten Super Yacht interiors from 2002 to 2013, before establishing Marine Evolutions.
Mark started out in the marine industry in 2002, building high-end, custom interiors for super yachts at Alloy Yachts in Auckland, New Zealand.
The work ranged from cabin fitout, teak decks, solid timber furniture, custom staircases, veneer work and Hi-Macs bench tops. Mark went on to learn a range of different skills overseas, working on fitout jobs in different Super Yacht yards around the world.
In 2005, Mark was selected to represent New Zealand in the cabinet making division of the world skills competition in Helsinki, Finland and has since been invited back in 2007 and 2009 as an international judge.
