Welcome to Oborn’s Nautical. We are a full service retail store and workshop specialising in sailing, marine, architectural and structural products and systems. We are proudly locally owned and operated.
Oborn’s Nautical opened in Christchurch in 1966. We have been offering top-of-the-line product and service solutions to the marine/sailing industry across Canterbury and New Zealand ever since. We specialise in custom boat fittings, masts, spars, rigging systems, wires, ropes and splicing. We have a full retail store and on-site workshop to cover all product and service needs.
Twenty years ago we realised that the same systems that we used every day in a marine environment could also provide high-spec custom solutions across many non-marine applications. Since then, we have worked on numerous architectural and structural wire and rod system projects across New Zealand and overseas.
Customer service is a priority for us and we pride ourselves on being local, friendly, approachable and easy to work with. Our knowledge, expertise and experience are unrivalled in Canterbury.
